As a practical matter, it probably makes sense to start with your insurance company. They can provide a list of in-network orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine specialists, and interventional pain management doctors.
Your Primary Care Physician (PCP) or Primary Treating Physician (PTP) may recommend a spine specialist.
Finally, I have compiled a list of surgeons and non-surgical spine specialists that I have referred to over the years. Please note: 1) This list is not an all-inclusive list.
